Speciality coffee for 3.2 million visitors per year

Trentham Estate has something for everyone. With 725-acre Trentham Gardens to Trentham Monkey Forest and Trentham Shopping Village – it’s a real destination in Staffordshire, with many coming from further afield. During COVID it was extremely popular as it provided people with somewhere to go on walks / enjoy family time.

The hot beverages at Trentham are managed through a contractor named ‘Totally Delicious’. Totally Delicious and Ringtons are working together closely to delivery quality two tea rooms (80 and 150 seats), a crepe & waffle house (100 seats), the estates summer concerts (up to 3000 people) and wedding catering.

How do Ringtons help?

Recently, we fitted five new coffee machines across the estate including one within its airstream trailer and wedding bar. From day one, our premium loose leaf tea and specialty coffee has played a key part in the estate’s hot beverages offering.  

Our expert barista trainers work in partnership with the Trentham hospitality team, continually upskilling staff, helping to create seasonal drinks all year round and providing specialist equipment for flagship events.

Dominic Bowers, Managing Director of Totally Delicious, the catering arm of Trentham Estate said:

30% increase in visitors

Before the pandemic Trentham Estate’s visitor numbers were growing with up to 1 million recorded just before lockdown. Following the pandemic visitor numbers have continued to grow significantly with a 30% increase which is being maintained.  

In August, the main tea room – which serves up to 5000 drinks per day – was supplied with new coffee machines and grinders. Ringtons quick responses and turnaround time has allowed the estate to turn new customers into loyal, returning ones.

Dominic described Ringtons as flexible, incredibly helpful and loyal – and reiterated the importance of a quality product:

“Yes, we could buy cheaper tea and coffee but we get complements on the coffee everyday”.
