Ringtons Joins the Global Coffee Platform
8 January 2026
We’re proud to share that Ringtons is now a member of the Global Coffee Platform, a global network of coffee producers, roasters, NGOs, retailers, and governments working together to build a thriving and sustainable future for coffee.
What is the Global Coffee Platform?
The GCP brings together organisations across the industry to support farmer prosperity, improve wellbeing, and protect nature.
Members collaborate on shared sustainability challenges and align around global best practice.
Why this matters for Ringtons customers
Responsible, transparent sourcing
As members of the GCP, we align our sourcing with the Coffee Sustainability Reference Code, an internationally recognised sustainability framework which demonstrates our supply chain meets specific criteria on environmental, social, economic and human rights.
Future-ready for regulation
With the EU Deforestation Regulation coming into effect in 2026 – and similar UK regulations expected – our involvement with the GCP helps us stay ahead, giving our customers confidence that their supply chains are protected and compliant.
Improved resilience and quality
Sustainable farming strengthens coffee-growing communities and contributes to long-term quality. Through the GCP, we can access research, data, and shared learning that helps us identify the best ways to protect the coffee we bring to our customers every day.
Working together for the future of coffee
Joining the GCP reflects our belief in collaboration. It builds on our work with the Ethical Tea Partnership and strengthens our commitment to quality, community, and trust across both tea and coffee.
