Seasonal Single Origin Coffee Beans

Every six months, we showcase a different seasonal origin in this coffee. We especially like to support emerging specialty coffee origins to help support and develop upcoming coffee producers.

Currently, our Seasonal Single Origin is from the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda.

The Single Origin Seasonal allows us to support new and upcoming coffee producers in different growing regions all over the world – part of our sustainability initiative.

Whatever the origin, you can be assured this coffee will always be carefully curated to have notes of berry and dried fruit alongside a bold body which ensures this can be enjoyed with creamy milk or as a flavoursome black coffee.

Origin & Flavour

Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda

We sourced this season’s Single Origin from the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda.

Over the past decade, the region has shifted from lower-grade DRUGAR (Dried Ugandan Arabica) to specialty washed Arabica, unlocking exceptional quality and market access.

In the cup: Berry sweetness, caramel notes, bold body – ideal for espresso or filter.

Real Progress at Origin

Through sustainable farming, selective picking and quality-focused training, smallholder farmers have increased incomes by 119% in two years.

Many growers now receive up to 75% of the export price – among the highest returns in East Africa.

Investment in washing stations and the region’s first dry mill, built by Agri Evolve, allows coffee to be exported directly from the Rwenzoris – strengthening quality and creating skilled local employment.

Partnership & Impact

Collaboration is central to this coffee’s success.

Working with Ugacof, Farm Africa and World Coffee Research, farmer training and variety matching initiatives now benefit around 40,000 people across the region.

We chose these beans not only for their flavour, but to showcase how thoughtful sourcing and long-term partnership can create lasting impact at origin.
